Overview The Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) will provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients in a variety of healthcare settings. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work on a per diem basis.
Responsibilities - Patient Care:
- Assess patients' physical and emotional status.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare provider.
- Assist with patient activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Documentation:
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
- Maintain detailed and organized patient charts.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare providers, and patients' families to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Quality Improvement:
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in performance evaluations.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Professional Development:
- Maintain current nursing licensure and certifications.

Qualifications - Education:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) degree from an accredited nursing program.
